The Snow League – Cardrona, New Zealand

Season Two will begin with the inaugural Snow League World Challenge in New Zealand, a global invitation-only event designed to celebrate international competition and showcase the league’s top athletes across snowboarding and freeskiing halfpipe.

The event, proudly supported by the New Zealand Government’s Events Attraction Package, will feature 16 Snow League athletes representing four regions: North America, Europe, Asia / Pacific, and The Challengers – emerging next-generation talent from multiple regions – with each team represented by one male and female snowboarder, alongside one male and female freeski athlete.

This first-ever, team-based format highlights the global depth of snowboarding and freeskiing while creating a new competitive dynamic separate from the league’s individual season standings.

“I am excited that New Zealand will host the inaugural Snow League World Challenge at Cardrona,” said Tourism and Hospitality Minister Louise Upston. “What a treat for Kiwis to see the world’s top snow sport athletes in action.”

Additional event information will be revealed soon including how fans across the world can watch all the action from New Zealand.
