The Snow League – LAAX Switzerland

LAAX Switzerland provides an iconic stage for the final event of The Snow League’s second season. Snow League World Champions will be crowned in both snowboarding and freeskiing as an unparalleled season of competition concludes.

The event will feature three full days of freeskiing and snowboarding halfpipe competition featuring the world’s best snowboarders and freeskiers.

The event begins on Thursday, March 11, with a full day of snowboard qualifying. Friday kicks off with an afternoon of freeski Quarterfinal rounds, followed by live music as the sun sets, and the stage is set for the evening men’s and women’s freeski Semifinal brackets and high-energy Finals under the lights. Saturday marks the final day of competition, as the top 4 athletes in each discipline battle through the afternoon Quarterfinals, with live music once again building toward the dramatic nighttime Finals under the lights.

As part of its continued evolution, The Snow League will expand its freeski field for Season Two, increasing the number of competing athletes from 16 to 24. The deeper roster will elevate the level of competition across each event, enabling more head-to-head matchups and showcasing the next generation of elite freeski athletes. With the expanded field, freeskiers will now compete across all phases of competition, including qualifying rounds, creating a more integrated and consistent event format throughout the weekend.

Season Two will also introduce an evolved three-day competition format featuring both snowboard and freeski competition each day. Day One will focus on qualifying rounds, followed by quarterfinal competition on Day Two, and culminating with semifinals and Finals on Day Three. By integrating snowboard and freeski competition across all three days, the new format delivers a more consistent competition experience for fans and athletes.
