Sara Shimizu

At just 16 years old, Season One wildcard Sara Shimizu climbed from the bottom of the rankings to finish second overall in The Snow League standings. Following her Olympic debut in Milano Cortina, where she finished fourth, Shimizu announced herself at Event Three in Aspen, taking the win with run after run under pressure. She earned the event’s top scores and claimed the top step of the podium, establishing herself as one of the sport’s most composed young competitors.

She carried that same determination into the season finale at LAAX, once again qualifying first and leading the field through the semifinals, where the event winners were decided.
