Liam Gill

Hailing from Calgary, Alberta, Liam Gill is a rising force in halfpipe snowboarding, steadily climbing the ranks. A member of Canada’s senior national team, he was the country’s sole men’s halfpipe competitor at the 2022 Winter Olympics. Liam has an innate natural ability on the board and an uncanny ability for visualization and execution. One of a small crew of snowboarders who can land a switch backside doublecork 1260—look for him to drop it on the first hit. 

As an Indigenous athlete, Liam takes great pride in representing his community and promoting the transformative power of sport. His dedication extends beyond competition—he was recently honored with the prestigious AthletesCAN Social Responsibility Award for his impactful work within Indigenous communities.
