Cam Melville Ives entered Season One as a wildcard and rode his way above the cutline, securing an automatic invite back for Season Two. The top Kiwi snowboarder (his brother Finn competes in freeskiing) is at the forefront of halfpipe progression, one of the few athletes capable of landing two triple cork 1440s in a single run. Known for going all-in on every attempt, Melville Ives finished fourth at Event Three in Aspen and sixth in both China and LAAX.
A member of the New Zealand National Development Team since 2018, Melville Ives has continued his rise on the world stage, highlighted by a breakthrough second-place finish at the 2026 LAAX Open before making his Olympic debut in Livigno. His progressive riding, style, and personality have earned him the nickname “Swag Lord” from halfpipe legend Danny Davis.
