Beijing 2022 Olympic champion and two-time Olympic silver medalist Ayumu Hirano has captured nearly every major title in the sport, earning a reputation as the “EGOT of snowboarding.” He carried that dominance into The Snow League Season One, finishing third at the opening event in Aspen before earning redemption with a victory in China, ultimately closing the season ranked fourth after battling through a late-season injury.
Hirano has continually pushed halfpipe progression to new heights, most notably landing the first-ever triple cork 1440 in 2021—a breakthrough that helped secure his Olympic gold medal, alongside his two Olympic silver medals. From his viral rise winning the Burton U.S. Open Junior Jam at age 13, to his historic Olympic park skateboarding debut at Tokyo 2020, Ayumu continues to set ambitious goals and, through hard work, perseverance, and talent, he achieves them.
