Brendan Mackay

Brendan Mackay took the Snow League points lead in China after an intense head-to-head final against Luke Harrold. Mackay delivered a showcase of endurance and technical precision in a dramatic tiebreaker showdown, linking 1620s bookended by 1260s to secure the win. He carried that momentum into the season finale at LAAX, but was unable to overcome Harrold a second time, ultimately finishing second overall in the inaugural Snow League standings. The two-time Olympian also added an Olympic bronze medal to his résumé in 2026.

Mackay honed his skills at Canada Olympic Park, the same venue where he produced one of the most dominant stretches of his career—back-to-back World Cup victories in 2022 that earned him the FIS Crystal Globe. The Calgary native splits his time between the halfpipe and the physics lab at the University of Calgary, where he is working toward his master’s degree.
