Cassie Sharpe is currently ranked fifth in the Snow League standings after Event Two in China. Cassie cemented her place in freeski history at PyeongChang 2018, dominating the women’s Olympic halfpipe to win Canada’s first Olympic gold in the event. She backed it up with silver at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, further solidifying her legacy among the sport’s greats.
Following the Olympics, Sharpe stepped away from competition to start a family. In 2024, she realized she still had more to prove. With her daughter in tow, she wasted no time returning to the podium. One year in, she reclaimed X Games gold with her baby daughter waiting at the bottom.
Sharpe returned to the Olympic stage at Milano Cortina 2026, continuing one of the most inspiring second acts in freeskiing.
