The Snow League – Park City Mountain

The Snow League and Park City Mountain have announced that the legendary resort will serve as the league’s newest host site for Season Two. The premier competition in Utah is set for January 22–24, 2027, further accelerating the league’s momentum following the conclusion of its historic inaugural season.

The announcement was made at Park City Mountain by Snow League founder Shaun White, at the top of a custom-built transition feature built at the Scott’s Bowl specifically for the event. The three-day Season Two competition in Park City will bring together the world’s top athletes in halfpipe snowboarding and freeskiing, complemented by live music, immersive fan experiences, and a full weekend celebration of winter sports culture.

Park City Mountain, the largest ski resort in the United States and Utah 2034 Winter Olympic venue, will debut an upgraded 22-foot halfpipe for the competition, setting a new standard for progression over the traditional 18-foot build. It’s the first time a halfpipe of that size will exist at Park City Mountain since the 2019 FIS World Championships.

This venue investment reflects The Snow League’s commitment to expanding athlete opportunities, from youth development to elite professional competition, ensuring the sport’s long-term growth globally by expanding the accessibility of premier infrastructure. The league’s addition of a world-class venue in Utah follows the high-stakes Season One finale in LAAX, Switzerland, where the league crowned its first-ever World Champions: snowboarders Sena Tomita and Yuto Totsuka, and freeskiers Eileen Gu and Luke Harrold.

The January event arrives at a pivotal moment for Park City. The weekend of January 22–24, long associated with the Sundance Film Festival, will mark the first year the festival will no longer take place in Park City following its move to Boulder, CO. The Snow League’s arrival signals a new chapter, introducing a global sports and entertainment property at a time of continued evolution for the community. Through forward-looking investments across the resort, Park City Mountain is helping shape the future by expanding experiences that bring the world to Park City.

The Snow League will return for Season Two with a growing roster of premier host destinations across the world, with the full schedule to be announced soon. Additional details about performances, athletes, on-mountain experiences, and town-wide programming will be announced in the coming months. Tickets for the Park City event will go on sale at a later date. Fans are encouraged to sign up now to be the first to receive ticket information, event updates, and exclusive announcements.
