Svea Irving is the top-ranked U.S. athlete in The Snow League freeski standings after finishing in fourth place at Event Two in China. Irving has established herself as a consistent force on the competition circuit, with 25 World Cup starts, three podiums, and a top-five finish in every event of the 2024–25 season, showing steady upward momentum. She first turned heads with her inaugural career podium, bronze at the 2023 Aspen X Games.
Outside of competition, Irving has begun channeling her creativity into filming, with a focus on backcountry powder and freeskiing. In 2024, she released her first ski film, “Stasis,” showcasing the full range of her freeskiing skills. For fun, she likes to snowmobile and ski with her brother Birk, who is also a Snow League competitor. Svea recently earned a Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communications from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
