Ruka Hirano stands at the forefront of Japan’s talented snowboard halfpipe roster, the two-time Olympian leads with consistency, technical mastery and a passion for the sport. He made a strong Snow League debut in Aspen, finishing second after an epic final battle with Yuto Totsuka. Atop his arsenal of tricks is a Cab triple cork 1440 Indy, which he unleashed in Aspen and then improved upon at the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympics, where he landed back-to-back triple cork 1440s to finish in fourth.
The 2020 Youth Olympic Champion is also a two Crystal Globe winner with double-digit World Cup podiums, and X Games bronze.
