Luke Harrold proved he can battle with the best at Event Two in China, where the 17-year-old finished second after an incredible tiebreaker final against veteran Brendan MacKay.
The Kiwi first made waves in 2024 at just 15, becoming the youngest New Zealand freeskier to earn a World Cup podium with a second-place finish in his debut. Harrold went on to make history at the 2024 Youth Olympic Winter Games, landing the first-ever triple cork spin in freeski halfpipe competition. Harrold is making his Olympic debut at Milano Cortina 2026.
